A by-election was held for the Flint Trelawny division of Flintshire County Borough Council on 10 April 2014 following the death of Labour Cllr Ted Evans.

Paul Cunningham held the seat for Labour.

A later by-election in Flint Trelawny was held on 22 May 2014.
